I think it is hard to tell and there is such a big height and weight range. The other day a girl the same height as my LO came up to us and I found out she is 3 and the LO is almost 2.

I have a pretty well developed sense since I see so many kids at work. Occasionally there will be an outlier that throws me off. Some kids just look older or younger than their actual age (it's not about their milestones for me)... but that doesn't happen too often.

Mostly yes, but with the little ones the milestones help a lot. I feel like I have a weird sixth sense with babies though; I've always been able to "get" them even before I had my own LO.

I'm not really good with babies, but I can tell (with pretty good accuracy) the ages of toddlers on up to 4-5 year olds. I've worked in daycares and preschools for a few years now, so I've gotten good at deciphering ages.

I can never tell. I always have to ask. Just the other week, a friend brought her nephew to church. All the kids were outside playing, and I saw the little boy playing with my friend's two year old daughter. They were about the same size, and seemed to be enjoying each others company. I commented to my friend about how they got along so well and asked how old he was. She whispered, "Ssshhh. He's five!" I did not expect that.

Not at all! I think 3-4 year olds are 6-7!

nope. i can't tell at all. i'm horrible. hopefully, i'll get better when i have little ones of my own. my husband guesses by milestones.

I'm really good at guessing baby/toddler ages +/- 2 years.

I can tell with toddlers by how they act. Recently, a girl at LO's school was giving her mom such a hard time about putting her jacket on... I guessed she was in her 2's and I was right! Haha. With babies, I go by their observable milestones.
