I haven't kept up with Grey's in a long time but I am watching the episode from last week because I'm bored. April annoys me.

Not for any sort of serial show. I hate not knowing the background. I'll pop in for a random repeat of shows though, or a one off reality show.

Yep, so long as it's a rerun I've seen before! I actually prefer watching reruns to new episodes. I like know ing what's next

I do it all the time with shows like Law and Order SVU or any other show that has a new story line every episode. I can't do it with shows that you need to keep up with.. Like Grey's. I used to watch it years ago and I tried watching it a few months ago because the commercial for the episode looked good but I had no clue who 90% of the people were or what was going on

Yes! I randomly turned on Survivor last night (I've never seen an episode) and got sucked in. It doesn't matter that it's like halfway through the season...I just scheduled it on my DVR to record regularly.

@autumnlove: I cannot stand April. Jackson is way too good for her!

Certain types of shows, yes! Like the CSI type shows or reality shows. But serial shows like Game of Thrones, Helix, Orphan Black, nope!

Yeah, I do that all the time with shows. Mostly Doctor Who or West Wing, but I don't mind catching a random episode of whatever's on TV

For the most part, yes. Like Greys. I watched it last week for the first time in forever. Same characters, same drama every week. It's like a Soap!

Oh yeah, totally. I've even watched some random old Cagney and Lacey episode recently, I've never seen that show before.

For crime shows, yes.
For sitcoms/dramas, only if they're on re-runs and I've already seen most of the show (aka am done trying to keep up with it)
