DH taught dd1 at a early age so she's been doing it since before 2. I don't remember when exactly. It's so helpful during the endless cold / flu season!
Although sometimes she "forgets".

That was one of DD1's early party tricks. She's been blowing her nose since ten months. An unfortunate side effect is that she puts her used Kleenex back in the box. Gross!

My LO just started doing this at about 20 months, and I thought that was kind of early, but I guess not. The problem is now that he doesn't realize he needs an adult to be holding a kleenex near his nose when blowing

D had a hard time getting it, but around 4 he finally figured it out, but he hates to do it. It's hard to convince him to go blow.
M doesn't blow on command, but he's good at blowing his nose without a tissue randomly.

Yep he's been blowing this winter season which has been really helpful since he's not a huge nose Frieda fan! He's 27 months now.

@oliviaoblivia: same here- she started really early (though after a year I think). But now and napkin/ tissue / cloth is fair game to her. When we go other people's houses I have to move any dangling dish cloths and the like before she blows her nose into them. Gross.
But really super helpful that she figured it out early since she haaaaaates the snot sucker. My four year old nephew still doesn't really do it.

My big kid learned around 10 months...thankfully! It was only a short time later that she shoved a pea in her nose...which she was able to blow out!
My younger gal figured it out after going to daycare, so about 18 months.

Yes, I taught him around 19 months. It's definitely helpful! He hates the frieda.

My little guy (just under 2 at the time) did it really well this winter. Now we've had a couple awful spring colds, and it's like he has no idea what I'm talking about. It's killing me!

My DS just started doing it at 14 mos. We didn't teach him but he's been sick all winter and I guess just figured it out! He is very proud of himself. He randomly picks up dish towels etc and blows his nose in them too, which is awesome. The other day I was rubbing something on his cheek and he blew his nose in my hand.
My older son just turned 3 and still doesn't consistently do it. We never tried to teach him till recently and he is getting the hang of it.

We juuuust started teaching her. She's not very good at it, but she tries

It took my oldest FOREVER to learn how to blow his nose. I'd say around 3?! I know. My youngest learned how to blow it as an infant! Still great at it too! My oldest still complains when I ask him to blow more than once.

We just started teaching my 19 month old. She can sort of do it, but she doesn't do it with enough force.

DS is 19 months and DH said he taught him how to blow, but he hasn't done it for me yet so we're still using various nose suctioning devices here!
@oliviaoblivia: DS did this a few months back and it was definitely gross. haha! Now, he has a throwing away stuff fetish so he's been good about tossing dirty kleenexes (and all other trash he sees).

Ugh my LO is going to be 3 and still can't do it! We've had so many colds this winter it's driving me nuts!
