My LO 1 can only consistently identify upper case letters. I need to work on the lower case letters with her!

Yep, around age 2. I think from the Dr Seuss ABC book... She calls them big letters and baby letters.

Lowercase a messes my son up, because sometimes you see it in print (in a book) differently than what you print (write).

Yes, at 25 months, with the exception of lowercase b and d, but heck, some of my second graders struggled with that. He knows names and sounds. I wish I could claim awesome parenting, but it was Endless Alphabet, haha.

Yep, we got her these m&d wooden word puzzles for her 2nd birthday so she is comfortable with lowercase letters.

Your LO is adorable!@Mrs. High Heels: Haha our LO does this too!! but it's baba (chinese for daddy) and baby letters.
If there are three things (like a pictures of a family)... then mommy size gets added. Letters though are baba and baby sized though.
LO knows about 80% of his upper and lower case letters so he still needs some work.
