DH would be a little tired but he can definitely handle 2 kids alone without me!

He could. He would probably call with a lot of questions though. He is a rock star dad but isn't as confident as he should be.

Yes but I would miss them too much! DH is super calm and patient and confident but very laid back... not right now though as we are bfing and probably never will happen... I don't mind! But he could!

Yeah. He's going to have to next month. I'm sure he'll be stressed and frustrated by the end of the weekend, though.

Well he's done solo with DD for 2 girls trips I took that were 2 and 3 nights each no problem. He's such a good daddy! Once #2 is done nursing and doesn't need me anymore I'm sure he could handle that too.

He watched R for a weekend (well picked her up Friday from day care and I was home Sunday at noon) and he said that it was easy. Jerk.

We only have 1 right now and he solo parents every Saturday because of my work schedule. He is as much of a parent as I am and I can't imagine being worried about leaving him alone with the DD.

yes, Mr. C is awesome with C - I love watching them together. It's so interesting because we have totally different styles in parenting, but clearly both work great.

With 1 kid, it wouldn't faze him in the least. That's easy, it wouldn't even be noteworthy. If he had BOTH kids by himself, he'd be fine, but probably tired and frustrated by the end, since the little one is just 3 months and still wants to eat all the time and only naps in short bursts.

Yes, but they would be watching TV all weekend and eating Mickey D's for every meal. Not to say that he hasn't done it before Slight exaggeration of course.

He will find out in February I'm goign to the JT concert, so I'm doing an all day girls day on Monday and staying the night and will have a leasure day on tuesday before returning! He's in charge of daycare pickup/dropoff for those 2 days!

Haha, neither one of us could handle an entire weekend alone. When my husband was travelling for business, I'd pack up and go to my mother in law's house or my parent's house for a few days. This way, everyone gets a little break.

Yup he would be just fine! They qqpuld probably have a blast together.

Yup! I work every 3rd weekend so he's at home with M. I work 12 hour shifts so I put M to bed on Friday night and don't see her again until Monday morning. DH does a great job with her!

Sure. The house would be blown out, but that's it. They'd have a ton of fun. They'd probably just run around the house like nuts and then watch silly movies all day.
