Any fun/cheap suggestions for a 18mo?
We'll be in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Niagara Falls.
I've visited all 4 before but hubs has not.
Any suggestions for family fun?

Toronto: Zoo, Ripley's Aquarium, Centre Island...I'll try to think of more, but those are off the top of my head!
ETA: Ontario Science Centre is really fun!

Niagara Falls has a lovely butterfly conservatory and children under 5 get free admission. I haven't been for years but my SIL took her 6 and 2 year olds last week and the 2 year old loved it.

Ottawa has quite a few really nice parks with splash pads! It'll likely be really hot there so that might be a fun way to cool off. It's not cheap but you could also check out the big water park, Calypso! It has a nice toddler area and it's so much fun!

I agree with @tinyperson: the aquarium is fab, a bit pricey though. The islands are lovely and only a quick ferry ride away. The photos you can get of the city skyline from there are stunning!

In Ottawa the Museum of Civilisations is great for kids of all ages, as is the Museum of Nature - great dinosaurs if your kid is into that! There are lots and lots and lots of parks and green space, being the capital they work hard to make the city beautiful and fun for tourists! Have fun!
