I know there are like 1000 glider posts, but I can't find anything that I can get in Canada? All I see are either super expensive dutalier ones, equally expensive Pottery barn and then the lower end BRU ones. Is there anything in between???
For Lo1 I made the mistake of buying a cheapie ikea one and it's horrible 
the glider will be my one splurge for LO2!
Which rocker/glider do you have and where did you get it from? Help! Bonus points if it's under $750

We have the Monte Joya rocker and we absolutely love it. I looked up the price and I'm sure we didn't pay anything close to that!! I thought we paid more like $700?! Anyways at 19m we still use it daily.

QBbride: I love the Montes but can't bring myself to spend that much $$. For Dd we just use my grandmothers old wooden rocking chair. Not the comfiest but she STTN from a very young age so we don't use it a ton. If baby #2 is an up all nighter partier we will probably splurge for something comfier.

Not sure where you're located but I'm ordering a glider from roomstogrow.ca. it's in a woman's home in oakville. You can pick the fabric etc. I haven't been in person but my best friend says the quality seems great. Prices are super reasonable... Hopefully you're in the gta somewhere so you can check it out!

@fuzzypeaches: I totally jumped in where I don't belong because I'm not in Canada but love this chair and saw they ship to Canada! Thought it was worth a look! Is shipping and duty just out of control typically?

@birdofafeather: I just tried to buy it! They only have grey velvet available in canada (the rest have to go through customs etc and it's too insane what they want to charge) I'm so sad because it was my favorite comfort wise! I just feel like velvet will be ruined in 2.4 seconds lol

@fuzzypeaches: That's the one my friends and I all have because when I ordered that's all it came in. It wipes off and looks great after 2 years and lots of milk/water/coffee spills.

@fuzzypeaches: i never did anything! but the fabric doesn't soak things up and it seems like it's already protected although i don't see anything on the site about it.
