I have heard from people you can sign up to get sample packs and free stuff like diapers, formula, etc... i've signed up for a couple of things but i'm having trouble finding good links that work for canada when i just search for the companies i can think of.
Did you sign up for free samples? What were the best sites?

@Reese: so far i have signed up with enfamil. and with healthy essentials to get a johnson & johnson care pack. i'm having trouble finding diaper ones though and an aquaintance told me she did this and had them sent to her mom's house too so she got two sample packs! but i can't find any links to get diapers. i want to try a bunch of types so this would be a great way to go about it!

@loki: I think i got signed up for something when i bought something at motherhood. I got an email from nestle confirming my address (and you can resgister for it online too). Apparently shoppers has a pack that you can register for via optium pts. Did you get the babies r us pack when you registered there? I was wondering if it was worth getting?

@loki: I think a lot of these packs don't come until close to your due date or just after...

I got a nestle one. With DD1 it came with a pack of diapers, but with DD2 it was only formula. I ended up donating it.

No I didn't know this was a thing, but I probably wouldn't have found most of the samples useful anyway. I did receive a bunch of free samples (diapers, formula, breast pads, baby wash, ect ect) when I registered, but most I ended up giving away/ throwing out.

I signed up for the nestle and simalac ones. I don't think I got the huggies diapers until B was out of newborn diapers last time and I haven't gotten any for G yet. It's mostly formula samples and coupons every few months for both of those sample packs. I ended up donating most of it as we never used formula for B.
