Where did you find yours??? Is it just me, or did they stop making these?? Because Amazon seems to only have used versions or an expensive one that doesn't ship for weeks!

I bought mine from Amazon this Christmas. I know it goes in and out of stock, so just keep checking until it's sold through Amazon and not another vendor. I've also bought lenses from B&H and they're usually around the same price as Amazon.

@Aria: Thanks for the tip! I didn't realize they go in and out of stock. I feel like I haven't seen it available for a long time, but I also have been checking all that often.

@Pepper: But that one is sooooo expensive, haha! Is it because of the image stabilization?? Is that worth it?? I have no idea what I'm doing, haha.

@Adira: Yeah, it's because of the IS and apparently it has a quieter AF. I primarily use my DSLRs for video, so those features are more important to me! If I was using it for still pictures, I'd probably buy a used version of the one without IS. Or maybe wait it out to see if it comes back up on Amazon!

My lens just arrived!!!!! I'm so excited to start taking pictures with it! Too bad Xander's in bed already.
