Are there things that you can't stand now bc of an ex??
I have a few examples of things that are forever ruined for me....
1. I can never own a Toyota 4runner bc one of my ex's had one and treated it like a baby... Barf
2. DMB... One of my ex's was in love with Dave Matthews, it was kinda sic k actually
3. I hate the Baltimore Ravens and Ray Lewis bc one of my ex's was obsessed!! Had a full on purple room with huge framed photos of Ray.

Not really...it was long ago and most weren't serious relationships. A few songs make me cringe though!

Nothing I 'hate' just a few things that bring up memories. But I've been with DH since I was 19 so I did not have any truly serious relationships before that.

This is so bad, but one of my exes was really, really hot so when I see stuff that reminds me of him I smile.
Old school Maximas, Tribe Called Quest, colorful & patterned boxers, LV products for men, a ton of men's perfume- Curve, Banana Republic, the word "lavendar"

1.. Duke (specifically clothing)
2. Hall & Oats (so random but every time I hear a song I'm reminded of one I can't stand)
3. George Straight Carried Away. I love this song, but it reminds me of an ex. We didn't end badly but still brings up memories.

Ironically enough, Cadillacs remind me of an ex. He had a super old one that just looked really weird for an early 20s guy to be driving, but his dad got it for him. Other than that, I can't think of much that I hate due to an ex!

Superman- my one ex borderlined worshipped the character and felt he was very similar to him.
Vodka- my exhusband is a horrible alchoholic with no intention of ever sobering up. His drug of choice was vodka. Now I can't stand the smell or taste of it.

Yours are so funny! You are not alone! I know I'm probably like this too but for some reason I can't think of any.
For me I know I have had this feeling of oh so grumpy when I hear or see something and I know it's because of an ex but for the life of me I can't remember what triggers it.

2. Any name associated with an ex.
3. That awful band Train.
4. Any kind of car obsession.
5. The name of any employer an ex worked for.

unfortunately my exes have ruined their own names (perfectly good boy names, some I even really like) and almost ruined some awesome bands until I remembered that I liked those bands first.

Anytime I am in NYC or think of the city, I think of an ex which is kind of annoying. We met up once there (we both lived in different states and did a long distance thing) and then I found out he moved there a couple years later. My husband and I have been there together so I have new memories but the ex will forever be associated with it.
Ryan Adams music is also a little ruined for me because of him. It's too bad because my husband and I both really like him!

I dated a guy that was so into Arrested Development and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He wasn't awesome so I have a negative association with those shows!
