We're just beginning our TTC journey, but it's gotten me thinking about how I want my career and job to be when I've got LOs!

Currently, I make a good salary, but in a job that's not the best fit for me (in terms of what I'm doing, and what my interests are), and I have a 3 hour daily commute. No lie, I do about 1.5 hours each way. I know that this is not sustainable, especially when we've got a baby or LO. Even if I wanted to keep that up, I would HATE to miss so much of my kid's early years!

I've always wanted to work as a librarian, and honestly, working as a school librarian would probably be pretty convenient- the Mr. is a teacher, so we'd have summers off together, I love libraries, and I also like teaching, and young people. But it would involve going back to grad school and getting a Master's (a second MA for me, as I've already got one!).

The library school in my state has a completely online program for school librarianship- how realistic would it be to have small LOs at home and do an online grad program at the same time? I know for a fact that doing my current 12-hour days would make my home life kind of hellish for all of us, but would it be possible to do something like that?
