When did/would you let a baby g on a carousel? My mil thinks it would be too overwhelming for a five mo.

We took her right before her first birthday and she was more then ready.

i don't have personal experience, but i bet it depends on the baby. for my LO, who is also 5 months, i could see it going either way--he could be totally fascinated by the lights/objects/music, or he could freak out like he did the other day when i tried using the showerhead attachment on him. i mean honestly it was like i was trying to set him on fire.

We took her on Christmas at 17 months. I agree that it depends on the baby.... but you never know until you try it.

I know DS was a baby, but I don't know what age. I know it won't hurt baby. They even have bench seats you can sit on in most carousels.

Just after a year; she loved it!!! The first time we went we sat on the sleighs with another little girl who was two. She was freaking out while my LO was just fascinated.

We took her at 8 months and she didn't react. I think she would like it more now at a year.

We took the kids to Helena carousel when DD was 24 months and DS was 3 months. DS didn't really know what was going on, but he smiled the whole time!

we haven't taken him on one yet, but that's more because we haven't had the best opportunity too. I think it really depends on how the baby will react to everything. I know at 13.5 months he's more than ready to be on one.

I just took my LO this weekend for the first time, and she is 5.5 months. I sat in the sleigh with her and she loved it! I do think it depends on the child's personality.

We took DD at 11 months and she screamed/cried the whole time. She was shaking she was so scared and based on her personality, I thought she was going to love it
I think it just depends on the kid!
