I'm sure a lot of the 1st year Halloween costumes are these stuffed Carter's costumes? I washed our pumpkin one and whoa mama! All the stuffing ended up in the back booty area! lol! I washed on cold, gentle cycle too.
So here I am, while K takes a nap, trying to rearrange all the stuffing equally again. That's all.

our tiger one wasn't too bad, but i did have to shuffle some around the belly! i kinda got confused with A's real belly too!

We have the elephant one, so it makes sense that the stuffing's in the butt. I might do some readjusting on it tomorrow after it's been washed for Saturday's Pumpkinfest visit.

I didn't think about this! I need to wash R's still. We got the pumpkin for pumpkin pictures from someone, so I knew it was already washed.

hahah. love it! maybe dry with a tennis ball? idk if that would help but i remember reading that helps with comforters or something.

Bahahha! A friend lent me her pumpkin costume this year and I washed it but it didn't do that. That's hilarious, though. Big booty pumpkin baby.

@shopaholic: haha, when I started to lose the baby weight, my mom immediately looked at my butt and said that I didn't gain anything there with pregnancy. Nope, flat butt here always. LO's might be the same way.

I wonder if you can deal with it like when you wash a pillow? Put it in the dryer with a tennis ball to help spread the stuffing around.

@sslm: @shopaholic: No guarantees that it would work, but I would definitely try it! You can always try to fix it after by hand if it doesn't work well.
