I just washed our entire stash. LO isn't born yet (and we'll be starting out with disposables until the BG's fit) but since I have time on my hands waiting for labor to begin I thought I'd get everything ready now.
When stuffing your diapers, did you use both inserts in each diaper right off the bat, or save the double-stuffs for night time and only stuff with one to start?

I double stuff them during the day and triple stuff at night. I've been doing that since we switched from disposables at one month. I love the BG 4.0s! I got a few free times for my diaper bag and I love those too.

I always started with a single insert until it became necessary to double stuff (never became needed for us since we used fitteds at night).

Great, thanks! I also have some freetimes as well. Some of the 4.0's I bought were just shells, so I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy a lot of extra inserts (I do have some hemp ones from baby kicks that I plan to use at night in addition to the microfiber).

we've never had to double stuff yet, and LO is 14 months! 
we just change often enough, and use sposies at nighttime

I double stuffed because they fit better, and then once he was bigger switched to single unless it was for a nap

we single stuffed with the newborn insert because it made her so dang big and i felt like her legs were so far apart otherwise! now we use the OS insert during the day and double stuff at night.

Started around 1 month. We just used the small insert during the day for the first couple months. Doubled up at night.

Started at 2 months double stuffing during the day and triple stuffing at night. At 4 months had to switch to sposies overnight because he always leaked in BGs.

I use the small one during the day, the longer one at night. I may try some Soft Bums bamboo inserts at some point. My LO is 9 weeks old. We love our 4.0s!

Whew, hopefully we'll be lucky enough to make out with just one insert!
Just got a box from my SIL and she included a newborn CD, so guess I'll be enjoying a fluffy butt a little earlier than planned

We started with just the small insert. Once she started soaking through at night, we moved to two hemp inserts. They are very thin but very absorbent, and it was less bulky than the large BG insert. We now use the large BG insert during the day and still use the two hemp inserts at night. No leak issues to date! Good luck - we love our BG 4.0's!!
