What do you use when your lo's face gets really dry? I have tried coconut oil, California baby sensitive lotion and Aquaphor but her skin is still really dry.. I thought the Aquaphor was working well but LO developed a red rash after I used it on her.

yikes, you've tried everything i would suggest. I would go to something to help heal skin, but im not sure its baby friendly.

You might want to make sure it's just chap. It could be dermatitis or keratosis pilaris which is what my toddler has. There are special lotions for that.
If it's just chap/ sensitive skin there's a great lotion called Aderma Exomega.

@sloaneandpuffy: I tried Eucerin cream but it was hard to spread on her cheeks! I will try the lotion....
I might take her in to the Dr this week...the cracks look painful!

What about California baby calendula cream? I haven't tried it but I know its for extremely dry skin and I have friends who swear by it.

We use weleda calendula chapped face ointment. So good!
