@Trailmix: @alison206: OMGGGG you should have seen my face at 5:20am when I popped that sucker out of the monitor... SO EXCITED!!! And it's a bit of a relief too vs. an OPK cause we are working all day then driving all night to vacation so likely won't be able to BD til tomorrow (and haven't these last few days).. which should be fine. H H H!!! Every other day sounds awesome. If my cycles are regular I should get a P maybe on Monday.

@alison: Mama. I don't like to give false hope, but that chart is looking ridiculously promising.

@jojogirl: really? I'm nervous. All the other BFP charts have ups and downs and I'm just up. I know how silly this sounds, but from the beginning I have had such a good feeling about this month. But I don't know if that's just Jenny Renny talking or how I really feel. Either way, coming from you, I know those are big words. You are my go to when I need brought back down to reality!
I never knew anything about the monitors till you got yours. How cool is that! No long wondering if the OPK meant you'd O in the next 12, 24, or 36 hours. This trip may be exactly what you need to relax and BDing because you want to, not because you "have" to.

@sslm: check in please! You're my TTC after a mc buddy, I need your opinion!

ETA: I can only post this photo here. I was so bloated last night, and I'm on a diet so I hadn't eaten anything bad or anything like that. I've been so bloated lately. My husband goes, "That is not normal. You need to do something about that. Like see a doctor or something." lol gee, thanks dear.

@alison206: I've actually played that game on FF where you guess the O date so I feel like i've seen 10 million charts, and the "textbook" pregnancy charts are the ones where the temp rises like a mountain after O instead of just hovering around the "new" higher temp, if that makes sense. I'm no expert and have been wrong about people's charts in the past, but this one definitely looks more promising than the last couple of months have! I have the same feeling about this cycle, actually Maybe the Jenny Renny + monitor combo? Haha. And yes, it works out REALLY well we'll be away the rest of the week

@alison206: hey! Good morning I think your chart looks really promising, and I know how hard it is not to get your hopes up. I'm not surprised at your bfn this morning, it's too early! I also tested neg on 9 and 11 dpo before getting a positive at 12. Hang in there!!!

@JoJoGirl: woo hoo for H!! Can't wait till you get your P!

@alison206: Your chart does look great! Don't lose hope 9DPO can still be too early to test. Hang in there and test again over the weekend.

  7. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@alison206: Yeah, it's too early, so your BFN would be normal. But I LOVE your chart! Didn't mountainmama's do that too? And we all predicted her pos?

@JoJoGirl: Still havin' the envy. I knew it wouldn't be another week of LLLLLLL!!

I tested this morning and it was negative. Obviously. That's how I roll, you see.

  8. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@Smurfette: Me too!! I think I'll start with OPKs today too.

@Grace: I agree, MountainMama's did look the same. Aww, monitor envy That is a lot of Ls on there, but I'm thrilled to finally get an H.

So so sorry about the BFN Your temps still look great though, hang in there!!!!

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@JoJoGirl: So exciting to see you got an H!! And yes, the EOD sounds like a good plan.

@alison206: I saw a post on FF about HPT accuracy by dpo...they didn't even bother with 9 dpo, and even at 10 it's so small! So maybe wait a few days and I bet you'll see something!

@Grace: You've still got time and things are looking good! Hugs to you and hang in there!

@Ambular1025: Keeping my fingers crossed for nice high temps, no nosedive, and no AF!

Once again, a BFN this morning. I'm ready to move on...to Cycle 6.

@spaniellove: Lady your temps still look good..... don't count yourself out yet!

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Spaniellove: Thanks for the good wishes. My temp went down .2 today and it has me a bit depressed. Just crossing my fingers that tomorrow it stays the same or goes up instead of nosedives. It's going to be a big day. Your chart still looks fabulous, so don't get bummed by the BFN's. @Grace and I have had them too and we all are doing pretty well.

@Alison206: I want your chart! Totally promising! And no worries about the pic. I totally looked like that yesterday too.

@ambular1025: My dreams are now freaking me out more than the tests. There's only one baby name I like, and it just happens to be the name of the mean girl I hated in elementary school - spelled a different way. I've never heard of anyone else with that name. I dreamt that she and I were talking, and I was telling her how important it was to tell your parent that you love them because you don't know how much time you have with them. (For reference, my mom left when I was young and died a couple years ago, after which I finally moved out to the suburbs and decided to TTC.) It's been haunting me all morning!

  13. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Spaniellove: talk about babies on the brain! What a weird dream but again, supposedly a positive sign. Last night was the first night I didn't really dream much and slept well. I have to say it was kind of a nice reprieve.

  14. spaniellove

I broke down today and ordered a CBEFM! Aaaahh! While I don't think we're timing BD wrong, I think we're really running out of steam some cycles. There seems to be an alternating pattern where I O on CD11, then 14 the next, then 11 again, and so on, but I'm never 100% sure so I'm always prepared for CD11. Between that and having short cycles, it all gets a little old. So hopefully there'll be less guessing this time!

@spaniellove: Half jealous! And half, that's going to kill myself laughing if you get a pos tommorow!

  16. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@spaniellove: YEAH!!!! So excited for another monitor buddy!!!!! And agree with @Grace, you might be paying that sucker forward. That's what happened to @Smurfette!

  17. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Spaniellove: I totally agree with @Grace! I was just about to say, your chart looks so promising, why spend the money, but I get that you have to have it at your home by day 4 in order to use it by day 5, and so if you do sadly get AF you want to be able to use it next cycle.

I also think @jojogirl is right, you very well may end up paying that forward and I think that's a really cool idea. While I'm iffy about sharing used monitors, if you get a brand new one and don't use it, you could either keep it for next time or share with someone who can't afford it. Awesome.

And it is definitely cool when we get another monitor user in the group. This is my first month using it, but had I known how great it was, I would've bought it before I even started TTC. Most women (from posts and reviews I've read) used it and got pregnant in the first or second month of having it.

But I think you're gonna get a BFP this month!

  18. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@ambular1025: It didn't even occur to me you could return it, duh. Obviously if you paid for it then yeah that's a lot of money to pay forward! I was thinking more if she got it off ebay or something. I'm also angry at myself for not getting it sooner... both the knowledge of the bigger fertile window and the anxiety-reducing effect it has are SO SO AWESOME.

Mine is used and I don't mind.. it was really easy to reset.

  19. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@JoJoGirl: I got it from Amazon (so it'll be here by Friday, probably CD1) although I'm open to gifting to another TTCer too! It's probably not what I need given our MFI issues but at least I won't have to worry about weeklong BD marathons. How many days before O am I supposed to start testing with it?

  20. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

I think I might need it after all...I just noticed spotting.

  21. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@spaniellove: noooooooo!!! I refuse to believe it!!!!!

I noticed your marathon BD week this cycle, my gosh! Good on ya!

So the monitor is really smart and tells you when to start testing. You "set" it (because it notices what time it is) anytime between CD1 and CD5, and then your first cycle it'll ask you for your first test stick on CD6. You use one every day with FMU until you O and then I think it tells you when to stop testing.

  22. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Spaniellove: don't give up until you get a heavy period. I've read about many girls who spot and think its their period but their temp stays up and they find out they're pregnant.

  23. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

Hi ladies! I hope you know I've been checking in on my phone all day! All you ladies and your monitors better remember us when you get your BFPs and are gifting/selling those suckers!

@spaniellove: wait till a full flow before losing hope.

@grace: don't you dare give up till AF shows! 12dpo can still be too early.

  24. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Spaniellove and @Grace: I'm totally having a down moment. BFN's are totally depressing. My hubby keeps telling me to have patience and see if it changes with time but I have no patience! My temp dipped a bit today and I feel like tomorrow it's going to continue that streak. Since you guys are in the same boat with BFN's I feel like we need a group hug, lol.

  25. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

I think I'm going to stop temping until AF comes or until I get a BFP. I am being so critical of every aspect of it and analyzing past charts I'm making myself crazy.

I'm still checking your charts and thinking of you ladies. My fingers are crossed for you all!

  26. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@ambular1025: Me too! Group hug back!!

  27. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

I think I really am out - temp is headed toward the coverline and I'm seeing way more spotting. In more exciting news, the monitor is going to show up a day early so I'll have something to play with! Which would be great if today turns out to be CD1.

@alison206: I can understand why you don't want to temp anymore. After a certain point it doesn't accomplish much except feed the stress! Everything looks really great though so I'm guessing you'll see that BFP.

@ambular1025: Huge hugs to you! It is really tough seeing a BFN and I hate it so much that I've stopped testing more than once, possibly twice a cycle. How long is your LP usually?

@Grace: Wow, your chart looks really great! Fingers crossed for you!

  28. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

    @spaniellove: I'm sorry. That's sucky.

@alison206: I've thought the same thing, except that I'm afraid I'll get out of practise and, well, I kinda get excited to see what my temp has done.

@JennKam: looks like you are getting some pretty crosshairs!

@spaniellove: Pfft! My chart lies. Look - it's the same as all the others. Dang teasing thing.

@grace: I hope so!! It's killing me, I just want to officially be DPO, silly FF.

Hang in there @spaniellove and @alison206, things will be brighter soon.

  32. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Grace: Let's both keep hanging in there. Both of our charts went up today. I still got a BFN though so maybe it will dive tomorrow?

@Spaniellove: I'm sorry you're spotting more today. I may well be in your camp in a day or two. This is only my second month charting and I'm at the same amount of luteal days as last month, with an additional follicular phase day this cycle. So I figure my period should come today or tomorrow. I'm hoping not.

@Alison206: your chart still looks very good! Keep it up! We need some more BFP's for this month.

  33. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

I guess I'll keep temping. Tomorrow could be the tell all. Last month my temp dropped on 11dpo. This chart looks nothing like our last BFP chart.

Hey all - curious if anyone who is TTC would be interested in some Wondfo ovulation & preggo test strips. There are about 15 ovulation (expire 7.13) and about 25 preggo (expire 11.13). I'd just want to cover priority shipping so they don't sit in the hot sun for too long - so it would be $5.56 (shipped priority with delivery confirmation + paypal fees).

OR I can ship them first class - which would be cheaper, but I'd have to know your zip code to figure that out.

Anyways, if you're interested tag me/give me your email. I can ship them out tomorrow before we leave town, or Tuesday when I get back.

    Baby dust for all!

@Alison206: your pregnant chart is very similar to mine now. With that pregnancy when did you get your BFP?

  36. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

    @ambular1025 I got a negitive at 14dpo and my positive at 16dpo.

Ugh, so I decided to change today back to spotting. For a while I thought AF was going to show but she never did. I kept waiting for the bad cramping I get before AF, but that hasn't happened yet either. With that temp drop I know it's inevitable!

  39. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Spaniellove: It has not dropped enough. See what happens with your temp tomorrow. It has to drop below coverline. As long as there's no AF you're still in the game. Spotting doesn't count. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

@jojogirl: Well Cheri22 gave me my reading and it could not be any more different from Jenny Renny. Cheri's reading actually sounds just like my best friend and her son.

I'm not feeling optamistic about this month anymore. I kinda have PMS and I think my period will be here this weekend.
