  2. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@alison206: Says the girl who's temp didn't drop on 11dpo like she thought...

@Grace: We're still hanging in there!

  4. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Alison206: Your chart still looks great. Try to keep a positive outlook until real signs point otherwise.

  5. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

    @ambular1025: Maybe you are...

Sorry. I'm not on speaking terms with my chart or pee sticks. It's made me grumpy.

  6. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Grace: I'm in exactly the same boat! My chart stays at the same level give or take but I still keep getting BFN's. My cycle has already lasted one day longer than last time, so I keep worrying if my cycle is just going to last longer and then show me AF. I'm very frustrated and I bet you are too!

  7. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@ambular1025: Is this only your second month charting? I ask, because my LP is between 12 and 14 days, so you might just have a longer LP this time.

  8. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

It's only my second month charting, but I tried 3 times prior to charting, all with total cycles of 24-26 days total (the first was 28 but I don't think the pill had worn off yet). Each month has been one day longer than the last. Before being on the pill I had a very regular about 28 day cycle.

@grace, @ambular1025: any sign of AF this morning? Mine is due tomorrow and I had horrible dreams last night that I started at work and it was everywhere. Gross!

As the only one awake with a logged temp I find myself wondering more about everyone. Lets give some background info on ourselves! I'll start!

@alison206: Your temps look awesome though!!! You're definitely not out yet

  16. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@sslm: thanks! I'm still using your method with the dollar store tests. What a savings cost wise! If AF shows tomorrow I won't feel bad that I spent $4 to test.

  17. sslm

    cantaloupe / 6397 posts

@alison206: Exactly!! I didn't feel bad for using so many cheap tests. Spending $100 on tests every cycle is a little insane

  18. April_Showers

    cherry / 245 posts

@alison206: @sslm: Are the dollar store tests better than the Wondfos? I have a bunch of them that came with my opks. Should I pick up something different?

  21. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@alison206: Temp dropped, so I'm guessing AF tommorow.

.....Hey! When did I become a persimmion?? That's like watching your odometer hit 100,000 and missing it. Nerts!

  22. ladybee

@grace: I went to bed at about 9:30 last night. This first week back to work kicked my butt. So I was up at 8:30. I'm sorry about the temp drop

@sslm: how are you feeling? I hope everything is going well!

    # of pregnancies: None

@Alison206: Your chart looks great still!

  25. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@ambular1025: I'm sorry about the temp drop and spotting. I have a feeling the same will happen to me tomorrow. I keep forgetting to tell you that I love your blog! I like reading from different people all in one place!

Not baby related, but lately my hair has felt so gross. Like my crown feels like it's got way too much product in it when I O, but 12dpo my whole scalp feels that way. Gross! I'd love to have insight into my body so I can see exactly how it's reacted to our mc and d&c.

  26. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Alison206: I'll pray for you that you don't get a temp drop. It really sucks! Thanks for liking my blog! I find I get a lot out of it and I'm hoping some others will as well. I totally agree that we need some thermometer that says this symptom means this. It would really help!

  27. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@JoJoGirl: Peak!!! You got a Peak!!! Your monitor sounds so much better than OpKs!!

@alison206: I feel like yout chart is being dirty. It's so pretty, where's your positive?

And Ladies, AF showed up this morning. What's funny is that I think I got all my disapointment out with my BFN on day 12. Now I'm kinda looking forward to making a doctor's appt to see what's wrong.

  28. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@jojogirl: How great did it feel to get peak!? It feels great for us just looking at your chart. I think I would have teared up a little.

@grace: I'm sorry AF is here but I understand what you mean. Once you except that you aren't pregnant you want to move on to the next cycle so you can try again.

I'm really disappointed. I really thought I'd get a BFP today and the BFN ruined my day. If I'm not pregnant, AF just needs to come.

  29. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

Yeah guys!!! Peak! Ha. I knew it would be today because I tried taking my OPK twice last night and I think the wand is broken because it wouldn't flash! But when I popped out the stick I saw two lines clear as day. I wasn't so worried about the wand though cause of the monitor. Yay. also my temp is super low right now so figured it was coming. Nice when all the signs line up.

    Grace I'm so sorry

    Alison what the HECK!!!!!!

  30. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@grace, @jojogirl: Monitor envy is getting worse! May have to hunt one down. Man, my mood sucks today. I really thought I'd have a BFP this morning. Last time I tested on 12dpo and didn't test again till 16dpo and thats when I got my BFP. I'm out of dollar store tests so I either want to wait a few more days and use a expensive one or go get more. I'm so disappointed. I "feel" pregnant again and I'm sure it's all in my head but I'm bloated like crazy (which I was last time), my skin is horrible (which it was last time) and I'm beyond tired (which I was last time).

    nectarine / 2152 posts

@grace I'm sorry I was really rooting for you this cycle

@Jojogirl isn't seeing that little egg symbol the best feeling?!?! Yeaaaah, now go get some!!

@Alison206 Cannot believe you got a BFN, your chart is just textbook....hopefully it's just a matter of another day or two! It's possible that FF is a day or two off on your O date, so maybe you are really only 11 or 12 DPO?

  32. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@alison206: Oh, that would be so annoying if you just were one of those people who always get pos late. Although, this baby will stick and then it won't matter that you didn't know till late.

@alison206: @jojogirl: @trailmix: thanks ladies. I was rooting for me too, but i think there must be something wrong. I just hope it's something they can find!

  33. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@grace: when do you go to the doctor? btw, thanks for staying this one will stick. I'm deathly afraid I'll lose baby after baby so hearing supportive words like that is reassuring.

  34. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@alison206: I'll make an appointment on Monday and she usually sees me within a week.
I can absolutely imagine that you would be scared. But even if that does happen (which it won't), there are things that can be done. Look at runningelley. :). But all that is moot, cause the next one will be sticky!! Like honey. Or tree sap.

  35. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Alison206: Your chart still looks great and you're probably a late BFP'er. Keep your hopes up. And I agree with @Grace. It will be sticky whenever it comes!

@Grace: I'm sorry that you ended up seeing AF. I thought since you'd held on past me for a few days you'd get a BFP. You're smart to see what your dr says. I'm waiting another month but really wish I knew now.

@Jojogirl: Don't you just love seeing the Peak? I am absolutely in love with my CBEFM but forgot to set it this morning. Thank God for being able to adjust the m date lol.

  36. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@grace: I hope your doctor can give you some answers. I would think TTC for 8 cycles with no luck would be long enough to run some tests. Keep me updated!

  37. April_Showers

    cherry / 245 posts

@alison206: your chart is so pretty! I am sure your BFP will come eventually.

@Grace: Sorry about AF. Your chart looked Fantastic. Hopefully your Dr. has some ideas.

@JoJoGirl: A P! How exciting! I totally have monitor envy. I already told DH if this month is a no go we are investing.

  38. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@April_Showers: I totally believe in the CBEFM. Had I known the confidence it gives you in hitting the right dates we would've invested right from the beginning. I just wrote a post about this on my blog: thebabystepsblog.com but the post won't actually show until 9/3 due to some already scheduled ones.

  39. April_Showers

    cherry / 245 posts

@ambular1025: this splitting hairs trying to determine fertility signs is driving me crazy. I know I have regular cycles, but then again how do I know that I am going to O on that day, do I start BD now or wait...it so annoying.

  40. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@April_Showers: I had the same problem! What I would recommend, if you have charted or used OPK's in the past, is start having sex about 5 days prior to the cycle day you've ovulated in the past. For me, ovulation would be CD 14, so I'd have sex starting CD10. Continue having sex one day past ovulation if you want to capture every chance you can get. Everyone's cycles are different, but mine is very standard and the monitor gave me high CD 10-11, peak 12-13, and high CD 14 (this was for a 28 day cycle). Just my two cents.
