@Grace: Here's the link to my chart
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ChillyBear
I thought about that after i posted but i had already left the house.
I think I have EWCM i dont ever remember seeing that before. So now i dont have cross hairs on the chart at all.
@Marrionberry: The kitten is the cutest thing i've seen in a looong time.
The Dog show was in Oaks at the expo center right? We live in the philly area too. I heard John O'Hurley on Preston & Steve talking about it on friday

@spaniellove: Samoyeds!
@Chillybear: we used to do agility demos at the oaks expo center; always had a blast there.
@marionberry: what a cute orange fuzzball!

@StrawberryBee: is everybody on this board from the Philly/nj area? I know chibee is too

@chillybear, @strawberrybee: Thanks! I'm so excited about her.
@chillybear: Not me! I'm from Oregon.

@ladybee: @spaniellove: @marionberry: I'm sorry for all the BFN and spotting ladies. I hope this turns around soon, we need some graduates!!
@Chillybear: I don't think you've ovulated yet. Your temps are too wacky. EWCM is a good sign though!

HI BEES. I'm cross posting from weddingbee...I'm a long time HB lurker and I have a question. I creep in and creep out often...
So I'm on Prometrium. I am on CD30/13DPO (whoo! longer LP!).
I'm getting BFN's and a decreasing temp, though still above the coverline, and I have been on and off bleeding (bright red blood, to brown, to nothing for 8+ hours) for the last 2 days. Pretty sure that I am out for this cycle.
My question is...do you stop Progesterone on your own or do you keep taking it until your period comes? Will it come? I feel like I'm just prolonging moving on to the next cycle...You know? I am fully ready to throw in the towel...But I still have the teeeeeeniest bit of hope. LOL
Is my temp still above the coverline simply because of the Progesterone?
Here is my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/totesmahgoats
Oh...also, there's a chance that maybe I O'ed later than I thought, so that I would be only 11 DPO. Here are the results of my O poll as of right now...

@marionberry: She is so cute! I'm not generally into cats but she is so adorable.
@StrawberryBee: I didn't realize you were from the area! And into agility! Don't laugh but I got my dog an indoor agility set a while back to keep her entertained.
@Chillybear: You can still go today and see the dogs! It's unique in that it's huge but you actually get to go right up and meet the dogs. You can't do that at, say, Westminster.
@ChuckNorris: Did your bright red blood look like AF at all? I'm just curious why you noted it as spotting and not bleeding and kept taking the Prometrium.

Huge temp drop today. My guess is AF will be here Monday or Tuesday. At least I have an appointment Wednesday to talk to my OB. Dh and I were just talking. I don't think this would be as frustrating if my cycles were consistent. Less false hope maybe? Ugh I don't know. All I know is our mc and stupid d&c messed me all up.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@ladybee: I don't think it's that huge (like nowhere near your coverline!) but can see how it could feel like a disappointment. Do you know if your cycles were irregular before your mc?
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@spaniellove: it's hard to be certain but I went off bc in jan and started ovulating and having consistent cycles right away. I was on bc so long I wouldn't get a period every once in awhile.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@ladybee: Do you mean you sometimes didn't get a period while on BC and you weren't intentionally taking 2 packs in a row?
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@spaniellove: yup, when I was on the actual pill I just wouldn't get a period and my OBGYN said it happens to people who have been on bc for a long time. When I switched to NuvaRing it stopped happening.
nectarine / 2530 posts
@spaniellove: I'd never laugh at that :D. I have three pvc jumps and a set of 2x2 weave poles that I keep in an outdoor chest but never actually use. I'd love to use them inside but we don't have the space and they'd skid across the laminate. I train at Y2K9s. If you're in the area our annual "Barketplace" is Dec 8th and 9th; I'll be doing demos that day and there's a 'try it out yourself' portion. Info on our website :).
@ChuckNorris: I wish I could provide some sort of advice or support, but I've never been on Progesterone , so I just wanted to say good luck!
@ladybee: the same thing happened to me while on BC, and I wasn't on it for a long time. I was as regular as can be before BC. The first time my body skipped a cycle I was probably 7 months into using it, and it freaked me out. Every once in a blue moon after that it'd happen.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@marionberry: Hahahah. Love it! She can console you with BFNs better than I can from here
@spaniellove: ugh, sorry about the BFN! Those doggies are so cute!!!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@ladybee: I agree with @jojogirl. It's not a huge drop, but I get what you mean because when I notice mine going back to a previous temperature I know I'm out. I really hope that your doctor can figure out why your cycle went crazy this time. I am really sorry that you're dealing with this on top of already having gone through a mc and d&c.
@chucknorris: I really don't know, but would presume given your drop in temperature today you probably stop taking the progesterone.
apricot / 368 posts
@spaniellove: I note it as spotting until it turns bright red, then I add "Light bleeding that stops." Short answer: No, it doesn't look like AF. Long answer: This happens every month...I have a teeny bit of bright red come out (literally like, 1/2 teaspoon, and it's super watery not thick like AF) and then it goes away for like the whole day! ugh! So I always really struggle with CD1, and the Prometrium was supposed to be treating it... =/
@StrawberryBee: Aw, thanks!! =)
@marionberry: Ha, yeah, that is definitely a nosedive huh?! LOL. I spoke to soon. I figured since I had four temps in the 97.7's that it would continue, but I've never been on P so I didn't know what to expect. Thanks..I'm stopping it tonight =)
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@ladybee: I'm sorry about your temp drop and wacky cycles I really hope you get it sorted out soon!! My cycles were whacky after my mc too, 10 weeks to actually get a period, then a 29 day cycle (shortest ever for me), then pregnant the next cycle when I ovulated on like, day 40 or something ridiculous. Crossing my fingers for you!!!
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@sslm @marionberry: thanks once it starts to drop I assume I'm out plus I've got some serious period acne today. Hopefully after seeing my doctor on Wednesday I'll feel like I have a plan. Secretly I'm hoping he will give me clomid to make me ovulate.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@ChuckNorris: Did your dr not give you any instructions on when to take it?
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@evenstar982: hi! did anyone ever respond to your ferning question? I don't know anything about it, but if you try it I'll be interested to know how it goes!
I gotta say, though, and I don't want to be a debby downer, but looking at your charts, I don't think you're ovulating. You just came off BCP a couple months ago, right? Your body is probably still regulating, but that would explain the sort of flat temps and the no positive OPKs thing.
Good luck! and hopefully I'm wrong
apricot / 368 posts
@Grace: just that I would be on it until the second trimester, but I don't remember if he said anything about stopping it. Lol. And he's not back until Thursday after next
honeydew / 7916 posts
@evenstar982: Hi! I tried a saliva ferning test my first cycle and honestly had a really hard time interpreting it. I agree with @shutterbug (sorry) that the two charts you have up don't show a clear ovulation pattern so far, which may be why you haven't seen a positive OPK yet. That doesn't mean it can't happen soon!
I can't wait till AF comes already so I can get this CD3 bloodwork done!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@ChuckNorris: Oops. There are ladies here that have been on it though. Maybe start a thread and ask? Or maybe one of the nurses at your doctor's office would be able to tell you?
apricot / 368 posts
@Grace: he's technically retired and just has a clinic once every other week at my work, mainly doing menopause and PCOS treatment. He just took me on..because, I'm not sure lol. So he doesn't have like a normal office that I can call. I ended up pretty much starting my period today anyway so I'm happy!!

@Shutterbug: @spaniellove: Ferning kit arrived, and I have tried it out, it seems simple enough but no evidence of ferning yet, though according to FF I should hit my fertile phase this week so here's hoping! I'm also not convinced I've actually O'd yet since coming off BCP, but fingers crossed for this month! I'll let you know if I have better luck with the ferning / OPKs - am hoping between the two of them I should get a read on something!
@marionberry: wah! Kitten cuteness, too precious!

Happy Thanksgiving Kids!
Can anyone give me some insight? According to FF I ovulated 8 days ago however I disagree bc of my CM
Here's my chart
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ChillyBear
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@chillybear: I don't agree with FF. My guess is somewhere in the CD 22/CD 23 range. I'm not an expert like some of the ladies here are though so it's just a guess!
pomegranate / 3032 posts
@ladybee: Thanks! I kinda feel like it makes sense if CD10 which was my the start of my 2nd period was really CD1. if thats the case then the day following EWCM would be CD14 and maybe ovulation day
honeydew / 7916 posts
@Chillybear: I'm going to agree with @ladybee and also say the CH don't belong there. It's a little confusing because just going by EWCM, O might have happened around CD22 (and that is when your temps started going up), but just going by temps and coverline, that would be around CD24. You'll probably have a better sense of what's going on in the next few days!
I wish I knew why AF is much heavier than it usually is for me...I never have more than 2 days at the most of heavy flow, but I'm on my 3rd day of cramping and super heavy bleeding.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@ladybee: I finally realized why the monitor gave you so many highs and probably wouldn't work for you - PCOS can mess with your LH. That's why they don't recommend relying on OPKs if you have PCOS since it gives you positive OPKs when you're not actually Oing and can be confusing!
Day 4 of AF and still heavy/cramping which is really weird for me. Like I'll have a random stinging cramp and then the flow will suddenly get heavy.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@spaniellove: ohmygosh that makes a ton of sense. My doctor said not to use OPKs, monitor or chart but I don't have that kind of willpower. Ill be charting at least for sure.
It's so confusing when you're cycle is different. Maybe it was a more stressful month? I have no idea! Just want you to know I sympathize.
pomelo / 5228 posts
@spaniellove - It sounds like you should see a doctor. I hate to say it, but is there any chance it could be a CP?
honeydew / 7916 posts
@Mrs.Someone: I've thought of that...I was telling DH that AF was like this for me when I had an early m/c a long time ago. I wish there was some way of knowing because this may be the last cycle of trying on our own before IVF, and it would make a huge difference to find out that something is still possible naturally.
@ladybee: I don't see why you couldn't chart! As long as you're okay with figuring out O after it happens. Having long cycles and not charting might be nerve-wracking!
pomelo / 5228 posts
@spaniellove - If it was like this last time, I would think there is a good chance thats whats going on Maybe take a test just in case it might tell you something?
pomegranate / 3032 posts
Stupid question time: whats a CP?
I ordered a 50 pack of cheapy tests from amazon when i ordered the Young House Love book.... not agreeing with FF and this being my first cycle off BCPs when should i start testing?
FF thinks i'll get my period 11/30 I'm think more like 12/4-7
pomelo / 5041 posts
@chillybear: chemical pregnancy...aka one that didn't stick. Since you have cheapy tests, then maybe do one on 11/30 and then again closer to when you think?
@ladybee: I wish you lived here and we could workout together. I so need to and they say it can help PCOS patients. I've been googling for you, lol. My friend actually has PCOS but she's not near getting pregnant (just dating someone). Maybe I could talk to her and ask what her doctor recommended. I know she started working out regularly and taking metformin.
@spaniellove: I hope it's not a CP, but if it is, then maybe you guys are close to a BFP without IUI or IVF and that would be a great sign. I wish you would've temped those last few days. Maybe it would be telling?
pomelo / 5073 posts
@ladybee: Katie Humphrey has a site about pcos and even an ebook. She is good to read about.
