Charlie and I went on a long walk with some friends who happened to be visiting for the day. By the time we got back, Charlie was really tired and cranky. So we figured we'd introduce them in the morning!

I was wondering. Where was Charlie while you and the Mrs. were in the hospital and hotel? Was he with the nanny the entire time?

We called Bee's mom when Bee went into labor, and she got on the redeye a few hours later. She's been here ever since... wow, what a mom!!

I'm here but I might fall asleep on my phone. So exhausted this week.
It's awesome that Grandma Bee was able to stay with Charlie. Brings up a question for other moms/moms to be:will you have someone come help you when baby is born? I know a couple of moms who refused help until 2/3 months after birth.

@jbhops We're TTC currently but my husband has never changed a diaper and I have to have a c-section for medical reasons. We are definitely going to need some help!!

@jbhops: If I had another child (like in Bee's situation) I would definitely have asked for more help. But since my daughter was our first, having just my husband home for the week was good enough. Both Grandmas came over a few times during our first few weeks home but not more than a few hours at a time.

I'm going to have too much help, if there is such a thing. My Mom, MIL, Husband and sisters will all be here not to mention my brother told me he's taking a few days off to help and bond so this is going to be a full house.
