We are having gluten free chocolate chip pancakes because I don't want to work hard at another meal. I know my kids will eat this one.

We just got home from the airport after our first trip as a foursome. We're recovering in front of the TV with wine.

I made the colossal mistake of going along with DH letting the kids play in our bedroom because we were trying to talk logistics of an upcoming trip without someone interrupting constantly. It seemed like his laid back parenting was winning the day...until the 19 month old comes out slathered in warming KY
Mom of the year right here, I'm planning on drowning my shame in poutine.

I wore PJs all day today. 14 weeks pregnant, 16 month old toddler at home... Today I just couldn't bother with real clothes.

my toddler hasn't been very hungry lately but he always eats fries. he may have had a small fry while out shopping this afternoon so he would sit still in the cart.

LO and I went to CFA with another family. The Dad was out on the playground with the kids while the Mom and I turned in the kids toys for ice cream. Then they asked for ice cream when it was time to leave and we said they were all out. It was really good!

Could've made dinner. But DH was late and DD was whiny so I just made DD a grilled cheese sandwich and went and got DH and I takeout while he put her to bed lol.

DS dropped his teething toy on the floor at Starbucks. I didn't have anything to wipe it off with because the diaper bag was in the car where I'd left it, thinking I wouldn't need it for a quick in and out. So what did I do when DS started crying right away? I "wiped" it on my pant leg, and stuck it back in his mouth. I figure every mom's done that at least once, but I did a quick, furtive look-around to see who had noticed. Eh.

I ate ice cream for lunch yesterday, and for I guess what might count as an early dinner today. Lactaid ice cream isn't bad! Or at least not once you've avoided ice cream for a year!

I figure the days are numbered when I'll still be able to eat junk food in front of LO without any negative consequences, so I'm using that as an excuse to stop by the donut or cupcake shop on almost every walk.

I gave DD a white marker to color on black paper to avoid a meltdown and she ended up coloring on our brand new dark brown swivel chair! Dh is mad at me.. but I'm like O'well ish happens we have a toddler, but he said "I should know better"
And she may have gone to daycare with a white marker spot on her thigh..... oops
