@Honeydew: I'm not, but DH's whole family is. Plus, I've got a bunch of friends in the area...we love Chi-twon and would definitely move there if the opportunity presents itself!

I got in around the time of this happening. I live off of the California Blue Line. It explains why blue line trains were packed heading into the city.

Oh my goodness! I bet my brother had a hard time getting to school today...thank goodness I wasn't headed to the city today.

Trains are still backed up in both directions a day later. I ended up taking a bus home yesterday because it was faster than attempting the El. Here's to hoping that tonight's commute won't be bad.
