Has anyone seen Chicco's new convertible seat the Next Fit? I've seen it online but haven't seen one in person. I *think* we will end up getting this as LO's convertible seat but I'm torn. On the one had I LOVE the KeyFit 30 and Chicco has great safety ratings... but on the other hand this actual seat was just realeased so I don't know if I feel comfortable buying something that has just come out.

@ninja: LO is still fitting in her infant seat really well so we are still a ways away. Unless I get good first hand reviews I think we'll probably end up with a Britax or something else with a good track record.

@MamaMoose: I was just looking up reviews for the NextFit myself and saw your post. Have you bought a convertible seat yet? I saw the NextFit at BRU yesterday and kinda liked it. We are looking at buying our first convertible seat soon (to make sure we like it before getting a second) and also will probably go with this or a Britax.

@SLR: @MamaMoose: Just wanted to give an update for you ladies looking at the Nextfit. We've been using ours for over a month now, and really like it. The installation is a breeze, thanks to the pulley tightening system for the latch, and the 9 different reclines. My car has a pretty angled seat, and DH's truck has a pretty flat seat, and it fits great in both. LO looks comfy cozy in it too. It takes up a little less room rear facing than the keyfit 30 did. No complaints thus far.

@grizz: my lo is really tall and thin so I might go for the diono due to the height. She is 5 months and in 9 to 12 month jammies!

@grizz: @Greentea: We've had this seat for few months now and really like it. It fits nicely in my super small car, and seems really comfortable. My husband also commented on how easy it is to install and uninstall, which has happened several times since we just have the once carseat, but sometimes use his vehicle as well.
