So, in Toronto there have been 4 attempted child abductions this week. Luckily, each child was able to escape and police don't believe they are linked.
There was also a 7-year old girl in Georgia who was almost abducted in a Walmart but escaped.
How will you teach your kids to escape? Scary!

So scary! I know that at some schools they teach kids to scream and yell and make a big fuss so that others will take notice. Basically to just fight fight fight. I told my DH that we should teach our LO to scream out "Help! Stranger! Stranger!" because honestly, if I heard a little kid scream "stranger" and was putting up a fight, i would totally do something about that. Otherwise, I would think that it was a fussy/mis-behaving child with their father/mother.

Eek! So scary indeed.. Will have to teach our LOs to scream and run! I remember watching a show where the person screamed "danger! danger! 911!!"
