Do you have child covers on your doorknobs?
In recent weeks DD has gotten really good at turning knobs. We put child covers on the two doors going in the backyard because of the pool. But not at the two front doors - duh! She opened the front door this morning to look for daddy! Oops. Gotta remember to put child covers on and turn the deadbolt! She's not tall enough for the deadbolts yet.

Yeah but she has learned how to remove them.... If it was a big deal, we would replace them but she doesn't try to escape.

@regberadaisy: we have them on certain doors.dd can actually reach our dead old and unlock it already! I also have to figure out how to secure the sliding door. She can unlock and open it easily

We have doorknob covers on all the inside doors except his room, but not on the front door. When he was intent on opening that one, we made sure we turned the deadbolt whenever we were inside. He's not as interested in it anymore (or at least he understands that he can't just leave our apartment without us).

She can't do door knobs yet, but can do door handles- which we found out when she let herself out of our vacation rental last month! We will probably only need one knob cover, since the rest of the doors are pretty outside of the gate.

@Foodnerd81: yup! Dd tackled levers a while back. But door knobs took a while longer.

We have covers on some doors (front/back doors, inside LOs room, outside of our bedroom door, outside of bathroom door). She recently turned 2 and hasn't figured them out yet. My brother said she dismantled the ones at his house within 30 minutes of her arrival there.
