Have any kids ever asked you/your spouse for a play date with your child? One of the girls in our daughter's daycare class asked my husband yesterday when he was picking her up for a play date. How sweet is that? 
I have her moms info so I'm totally going to do it.

All the time, but I usually know the parents. My usual response is, "the mommies will have to talk about it", or "maybe next time if your mommy says okay".

J asks me all the time to call my sister so he can play with his cousin- they adore each other!
He also asks to play with the neighbor kids. I don't know the parents well though, so they usually only play in the hallway of our apartment, or if we run into each other at the park outside

Yup, it started around age 3. They like to arrange their own. It is cute!
