We have a manual clean gas stove. The oven's broiler function is on top of the oven and there's a glass that covers the burner. Somehow I got splatter all over the glass and when we use the broiler for too long it smokes! eek. I am unsure about how to clean it without breaking the glass.

I plan to call c/s tomorrow for guidelines but wondering if anyone has experience?

Generally I prefer to use baking soda + water and let sit. But seeing as how it's on top....the baking soda paste won't sit.
