Any bees ever used the Clear Blue fertility monitor? Advantages over using opks?

Will tell you high fertility days. Opks will just tell you the peak day.

I used it for both pregnancies because I have longer cycles (36 days) and I O really late in my cycle. The second time I also used cheap opks alongside the monitor.

I use it to get see my high days, but I also use Wondfo OPKs to more accurately catch my LH surge.

@mrsjyw and @ms.line, did you find that your "high" days matched up with the positives on the opk?

Thanks @Tequiero21! I'm temping this cycle too, so if we don't end up getting pregnant, at least I'll have a little more information!

@lauraeva: My first cycle the CBFM didn't give me a peak reading at all (which is fairly common for first cycles, so I was happy I had backed it up with an OPK). The second and third cycles, the CBFM and OPKs both showed a "peak" on the same day.

@lauraeva: they did match up pretty consistently with the cheap opks, but it really helped to nail down the two peak days when I couldn't really tell the difference on the darkness of the cheap OPKs.

Just another person chiming in to say I used both at the same time and the results matched.

I used the fertility monitor alongside the Clearblue digital ovulation kit and some cheap strips. The peak day on the monitor matched to the positive test on the digital kit and the cheap strips but I definitely got three positive days beforehand on the monitor so the monitor does help give you advanced notice (which is helpful if you are like me and ovulate anytime between day 16 and day 20 rather than on the same day every month).
