I bought the angel bottom balm because I heard it was supposed to be soo good at getting rid or rashes and diapers... it would be disppointing if it doesnt perform as well as all the reviews

This might not be relevant for you, but if your cloth diapers have a cotton inside then you can use pretty much any cream and it will come off in the wash. Otherwise I found with the natural creams that it was hit or miss. I think LO was sensitive to some of the herbs because some of the creams (like Grovia) made his rash worse!

I love EMAB's angel baby bottom balm. I personally don't use it as a preventative but as a solution once rash shows up. An alternate that is helpful for us is CJs BUTTer. You could also try Thirsties Booty Love.

@Zuzu2and11: no problem! When Baby Boy gets a rash I usually just use Desitin with prefolds for a few days...

Weleda diaper cream. Works like a charm. We do use a liner with it just in case.

We haven't had any issues with rash yet, but did want to throw out there that you may want to try another brand of CDs that don't have the suede cloth interior (like BG4.0's). There are a lot of people that have suede cloth sensitivities.

When I put my daughter in BG4.0 for a full day she gets red, but when she goes to the GroVia's she clears right up. Using a liner has helped the issue some but we may have to make the switch to the elementals.

@HabesBabe: i think that is good! I couldnt tell you how many ounces ours is but it is about the size of a spaghetti sauce jar and i think it was $7. We use just a little so it seems more affordable than rash cream. I hope you like it!

@MamaCate: I had no idea that you could use coconut oil for diaper rash cream, but now that I've looked it up I think we'll try to go that route. I'll take diaper rash cream off of my Target shopping list for this weekend and add it to my grocery list!

@Baby Boy Mom: omg, my poor LO had such a bad reaction to the grovia stick. Her skin got red and started to blister... I should contact their customer service!

@Zuzu2and11: Yea my little girl gets red and bumpy where the diaper would be wet against her skin but not everywhere. I am still not 100% sure if we have an allergy or not yet.
