We gave up on it around 14 months and now use disposables at night. We were using these for a while though, and had no problems with leaks, but I couldn't stand the strong ammonia smell in the morning. We put a fitted cover over them and I hope to be able to try them again with #2.

We had to use disposables until recently. I use one of our rumparooz pocket diapers with an extra microfiber insert (the one that came with the diaper). We very rarely have leaks (about as often as we would with disposables...sometimes they just happen no matter what you do).

@avivoca: i think the material on the inside of the rumparooz is different than the bg. I never have a problem with super wet skin. I don't think lo is a super heavy wetter though...his diaper is really full and weighs a ton, but i don't usually notice a smell. Hmm..

we don't have issues...her diaper is on pretty tight though. I use an insert and BG Freetimes. Sometimes I use sustainable babyish with a wool cover but it's so pee soaked, it grosses me out

We use freetimes with J, he hasn't leaked out since he was 2-3 months old.

We just use an extra (or 2) insert!

We use BG 4.0's too. At night we stuff with two of the large BG inserts and sometimes also a newborn insert. The only time we have leaks is when my husband snaps her diapers wrong (usually leaving it too loose).
