I bought some onesie extenders from Etsy and I love them. My LO's onesies were getting too stretched out and the next sizes were baggy on her.
Do you use onesie extenders?

I have friends that used them for their tall, skinny kids, but I never thought about using them with CDs! Great idea!

I think I may need to try some. Her onesies are getting stretched out!

I never heard of them. I always just put lo in the next size up.

I didnt know they had these, but such a great idea, especially if you cloth diaper and need a little extra length.

that's an awesome idea! I've seen those on the new disney onesies (a couple sets of snaps) to grow with. some babies get longer before they get bulkier.

@Mrsbells: yeah, i was getting so sick of the stretched out necklines! DH is happy because his favorite onesies for LO (I love Daddy, My Dad is a rock star. Daddy's Princess!) have been saved from the "too small" pile!

I was looking at those. Such a brilliant idea. How many did you buy? I've been trying to figure out how many we'd need at bare minimum if we got them. Too few and you're constantly snapping and unsnapping them to new onesies with each outfit change (and Baby X is going through about 3 outfits a day)... but I don't want to buy too many because aren't they something $10 for 3? That's too expensive to have one attached to each onesie. Hrmm...

I was thinking about ordering some, but was hesitant because I wasn't sure how useful they would be. It seems like they are useful, so I might order some soon now!

@red_seattle: I bought 6 and I will buy 6 more. I wish I had simple sewing skills!

DS is 12 months and in 24 month clothes so I might get some if he is outgrowing his 24 month onesies before he's walking.

@mrstilly: I hear you! I love a onesie underneath to keep their little backs and bellies covered, I plan to keep my son in onesies until we potty train. He's 15 months and wearing 24 month sizes now and there are a lot fewer options for 24 month and 2T!

@looch: I know. I'd love to keephim in onesies through next fall/winter but don't know that I'll find ones that fit that aren't a fortune. I found a place that makes them in bigger sizes (Essential Whites I think) but they were pricey, IMO.
