What type of diapers do you use?
We use disposable! I thought I would be a cloth user, but didn't like the idea of having to wash poopy diapers.

We went with disposable mostly because I didn't know enough about cloth early on and now it just seems easier to throw them away

I plan on going with cloth diapers. I really hope I stick with that plan. DH is still on the fence about it.

Cloth! She uses disposable for daycare, but LAWD I can't wait til summer and she's in cloth for 2 months, all day long! No buying any diapers....yes, I get excited about the little things.LOL

I use gdiapers - mostly the flushable gfills but I use the gcloths too...2 cloth diapers per day.

We plan on doing 100% cloth but I'm waiting for the umbilical cord to fall off before I start using them! I actually had to buy disposables today (since the cord is still there) and it made me seriously angry since I have 2 drawers FULL of cloth diapers!

Cloth all the way. Right now we have issues at night, so I broke down and bought some episode, but the cloth diapers are just as easy and soooo cheap. Washing them isn't that bad at all, either. Totally worth saving $25 a week.

Disposable....even if I were interested in cloth, I don't think DH would be!

I'd like to use cloth most of the time. They're more economical, and I find baby poop less gross than the chemical nastiness in the disposables, haha!

We use cloth and our daycare is ok with cloth!

Disposable. The thought of cleaning poop off diapers is unappealing to me.
I'm not entirely convinced cloth is more economical or earth friendly than diapers. I've read arguments both ways.

Disposable. LO had had a bug this week and cleaning and soaking the poopy blowouts has just about pushed me over the edge!

Cloth, I like the health benefits for LO and of course the cost too...
It's honestly not so gross, I don't have to touch his poop lol I just take the whole wetbag/liner and dump it into the washer. No touching

Wow! Cloth is out-voting disposable right now. Clearly hellobee does not represent the "average" American parents. We use cloth. We started DD on them during her 4th day of life. A week later, and we're loving cloth so far. We have to do tons of laundry anyways, so the diaper loads are easy. It will be interesting to see how we feel once we start DD on solid food and we have to spray off the poopy diapers before putting them in the wash... but that is such a long way off right now.

Disposable but I really wanted to do cloth! Unfortunately in renting now and pay for laundry so it wouldn't be feasible to pay to wash diapers. I'm hoping to start cloth when we buy and have our own w/d, whether that's before LO is potty trained or with future little ones.

Wow, so many votes for cloth! I only know one person IRL using cloth. We use disposables.

We haven't started using them yet, but we intend on going with cloth.

I'm going to be a working Mom...I have no time for extra laundry!!

We're planning to do cloth. DH is on board since he's used prefolds before with his nephew. It's funny because a lot of people ask me if I'm planning to do cloth once they find out I'm pregnant. It's never a question I thought to ask someone before. Maybe I just look like the type?

I tried cloth early on and it didn't work for us. So we use disposables!
