We've used them since the beginning and they work great for us! We have Thirsties and OsoCozy and I LOVE the Thirsties ones but the regular flannel ones work fine too. We wet them usually with just water but sometimes a little wipe solution too and I keep them folded pop-up style in an OXO dispenser for daycare. I love them because I just throw them in with the diapers to wash!

We used grovia diaper lotion potion at first, but have been using just water for months and it's been fine. We store them in an old disposable wipes container. 48 wipes get us through 2-3 days, which is how often we wash.

You can also use flannel fabric cut into squares (cheap old receiving blankets can be cut up for this, serge the edges if you're afraid of fraying), or even a set of cheapo wash cloths. I've also seen some people use old t-shirts cut up into squares.

We love them. I find that the thin flannel ones are the best. We store them in water at home, and use a small wetbag on the go.

I started using cloth wipes after LO turned one. I bought a pack of bumgenius wipes, and I just wet it with water before a diaper change.

I heard some good things about the Grovia ones. They are selling Grovia wipes (second quality) on their website for $6 for a pack of 12. Shipping is expensive but if you load up and spend $100, you get free shipping. I got 10 packs and sold 6 already.

@coacheswife123: I wouldn't think it would be worth it unless you used cloth diapers. Especially now that (I assume) he's not pooping several times a day like before starting solids. I'd just stick with disposables! Or you could start cloth diapering, if you wanted. Assuming you want to have more kids, you'd still get your money's worth out of them (IMO) if you reuse them with future LOs.

@coacheswife123: We use cloth wipes with disposable diapers because M was having frequent diaper rashes with even sensitive wipes. I still use disposable wipes for poop and travel because I'm a wimp. Even with that I love the cloth! It's easy (we spray her butt, wipe her and toss in the hamper), no rashes and we're definitely saving money.

ETA: We use grovia wipes. I tried cutting up receiving blankets but they were too thin.
