If you cloth diapered your newborn how did sizing work out for clothes? We are using Bum Genius AIOs in newborn size. Should I go with a minimal amount of clothing in newborn size? Are there any brands or styles I should look at to accommodate the diaper?
Any other tips for buying clothes for a cloth diapered baby?

I really liked carters onesies because they are long. Go up a size in pants so theres extra room in the bum

Agree with @Mrs. Lion: that the bulk of the diapers take up more room in onesies! I found that shorts fit so weird because the diapers went practically to his knees.

And in the end he wasn't really ready for the 0-3 yet in terms of length/waist.

I sized up in pants and rolled up the bottoms. When we were at home, I just kept her in a onesie.

@Mrs. Lion: Thanks! A friend gave me tons of carters onesies so it's great to know they will work.
@spaniellove: I will take a look at the link, thanks! It will be October so at least I don't have to worry about shorts...
@avivoca: So you're telling me I should have bought more of those trumpette socks on super sale and less pants with covered feet?

Unless you have a really little baby the newborn clothes aren't likely to to fit long anyways. I'd just focus on 0-3 clothes, and not much with pants
