My 3yo daughter is starting a co-op preschool on Friday (eek!) and we just did parent orientation. As I was looking at the roster, I realized that she will be by far the oldest/ most mature child in her class. Her birthday is Oct. 12th so she is almost 4, but she is super smart and verbal. The next oldest kids are late Dec birthdays (twin boys) and there are a few kids who won't even be 3 till December. She does have one friend in the 3 year old class, but two in the 4 year old class.
Should I talk to the teacher? Let it play out and hope for the best? There is no chance of her moving up a room because the 4 year old room is full to capacity or even slightly over.
