I've bought (gender-neutral) baby clothes and I'm not even pregnant yet. Am I the only one?

I do the same thing! I have 3-5 pieces that I snagged at my favorite thrift store. They were just so cute that I had to buy them! I know I'll use them with my future foster kids.

I bought a Bazinga onesie to give to DH when I got pregnant.

I bought a sons of anarchy winter hat like abel wears on the show. I never got pregnant and now we're adopting. Oooops! I'll save it for family or friends who may like it.

I bought a couple cute gender neutral things before we were TTC.
A friend had a baby box for like a year before she got pregnant...and she bought gender specific stuff, haha!

I only bought a onesie to surprise Hubs when we get a positive. I'm pretty superstitious about buying stuff before getting KU.

I had an ebay problem for awhile... When I was 19 (and not even married) I had a whole 6 mo - 24 month wardrobe for my future daughter!
Thankfully, I ended up having a daughter...

No, you're not the only one! I have a growing (albeit slowly) pile of future baby stuff including books, toys, and a few pieces of clothing.

I bought a onesie to give to my husband when I get pregnant. I have had to hold off a few times on buying things - I really, really want to, but I don't want to jinx myself. Haha.

I don't own any clothing. I have a daddy-to-be book and nursery type CD to give DH when it's time. But no actual purchases of clothing or "equipment."

We are only 10 weeks along today and I have had a full gender neutral wardrobe up to 12 months, a huge cloth diaper stash, plus tons of baby gear for almost two years now. Actually, since we found out about the baby, I haven't bought one thing and I actually think even if we didn't by anything more before the baby comes, we'd still be perfectly alright with what we already have.
I just like to take advantage of great sales! And I have been able to buy everything at such discounted prices that the few bits and bobs I've decided to sell for whatever reason, I've actually made a profit on while still giving the buyer a good deal, so I wasn't worried if they baby never ended up happening because I honestly believe I could have made bank reselling (I recently sold my kate spade stevie bag that was being discontinued. I bought it for $100ish and then decided I really didn't like the color of no matter how much I loved the bag. I ended up selling it for $300!)

I just haven't, YET! When I see really good deals on nursery stuff I'm so tempted to buy them

I really tried to avoid it, I am definitely superstitious. I did buy a couple onesies I intended to help us let people know the news - I purchased them when I got my first BFP (chemical) so then I hid them away until my success months later. And then I only let myself buy 1 thing after our 12 wk scan and nothing until our 18 wk scan because I was afraid of things going south.
Right now I have a Big Sister tshirt for LO buried so far in my drawer I honestly forgot about it until I saw this. I'm hoping she's still in that size when we get there . . .

I bought a personalized onesie from etsy. Plan was to use it to tell DH, but I'll probably use it to announce to everyone as well.

I have thought about buying a onesie for when the time comes so I can use it to tell DH but I am a little anxious about jinxing myself.

@debbiei8: Did she have the right gender for the clothes? Ha. That's so funny.

I've bought a few organics from Baby Gap. Glad I did because they aren't selling the ones I like anymore. They're gray and cream colored, so perfect for either gender. I'm just so excited, even thought TTC has been so hard.

Nope, I've bought all kinds of clothes/books/supplies and I haven't conceived yet

I can't bring myself to. As embarrassing as it is, I'm too superstitious to buy baby clothes yet.

I did not do this but I think it's cute to do it... Yeah I don't know why I don't but I think I will go with other PPers have said... superstitious probably.

I am far to superstitious to actually buy anything but I know exactly which CDs I will be buying and pram, infect I even know which 1 I'd get if we were having twins haha.
Last time I went round to my Mum's I saw some knitting she was doing and she said she's glad I like it as it's a blanket for her future grandchild. My mum knows we are struggling so it made me happy to know she had faith that it would happen.

Wow I'm surprised how many people have purchased things. I almost 12 weeks pregnant and have nothing! One book which the doctor gave me and that's it. When I get my first scan in 2 weeks I think I'll start then.

I have a box tucked away in a closet with some baby clothes and some hand-crocheted baby booties and hats. I also have a few kids books and some things I plan on using for nursery decor. My mom is a preschool teacher and is saving quite a few books and some toys as well for my future kids.
I don't consider myself to be superstitious, and it doesn't bother me to have baby stuff in the house, even though we're not even TTC quite yet.
