LO is 11 months old and cruising (not walking yet, though maybe soon-ish?) and grew out of his previous shoes, which were Robeez I think. We'd like to get him some baby Converse shoes, because they're so cute. But are they bad for baby feet?

I think any hard sole is bad before a baby walks? Converse are so cute!

C wore the soft Converse until she started walking and then we bought her regular ones.

Totally cute but hard to walk in. DD had a pair but it was only when she was crawling.

@Rubies: Interesting... I guess we'll see how well LO does with them, and if he has trouble I suppose he can wear them as "decorative" shoes when he's out!

My daughter started wearing converse when she started walking outside in the cold winter. They're great for protection like that, when a child is doing a lot of walking on cold concrete.

I didn't put Converse on LO till he was walking well, so around 12 months.
