I'm due with Baby #2 in 2 weeks For my first LO, we used an infant bucket seat (Graco SnugRide 35) for a few months before switching to a convertible seat. This time around, I am wondering if we can go right to the convertible seat, and how that works leaving the hospital. We have a Britax Marathon and it says it will accommodate infants as small as 5lbs. Anyone have any experience going right to a convertible seat?

Sidenote: I do have the Graco SnugRide from my first LO; I just hated getting it in and out of the car. If all else fails and the convertible doesn't work out with a tiny newborn, we can switch to the SnugRide, but I'd prefer to try the convertible first
