I'm so proud of myself! Before having kids I told myself I will make purées and such for my baby. But like lots of things I tend to say sometimes I don't follow through! But this, I have!
Not only have I made all her purées, I've also been canning for her (peaches & applesauce this far). Made her steel cut oats with applesauce for breakfast this morning and chicken carrots congee for dinner. I took 2 boobs and a carrot and simmered for 2 hrs to make stock then cooked the rice in the stock. Took out the chicken and carrots and chunky puréed and put it back into the congee. She loved both, as did I! My motto is if I won't eat it why would I serve it to my baby? She also loves Belgian waffles when I make them for breakfast!
She just turned 7 months so I've only been giving her solids for a month.
