Do you eat cottage cheese? Do you put stuff in it?
I'm struggling with it today!

I've had it for dinner as a side to a protein. Never for breakfast or with fruit, etc.
I actually didn't try it until I had dinner with the ILs a couple years back.
I remember asking my mom to buy it when I was lil' cuz I saw one of my school friends eating it. I remember gagging. Yea - def not on the Korean food menu.

i go in waves with cottage cheese - sometimes I love it - sometimes I can't stand it. I'm in a period of not wanting to eat it right now.
But we like the chive cottage cheese! sometimes I just put it on toast... but i never add anything to it.

I really like it but don't eat it too often. I won't eat any of the ones that you can buy with add-ins, but I do eat it with other food. Mostly just toast or crackers, but also fruit. I never mix anything into it directly.

I usually sprinkle some type of seasoning on my cottage cheese or eat it with salad.

Something about it grosses me out (texture?), but sometimes I mix it in casseroles, enchilada filling, or stuff like that for extra protein when it won't be noticeable in the mixture.

Yes! I like it with peaches or blueberries or banana or plain.

@autumnlove: Those little containers are usually gross! Get one of the regular large containers and portion yourself out a serving. Much tastier!

Yes, I like it- it really helped me survive morning sickness, since most other proteins didn't appeal to me.
Usually I like to put salsa in it, other times just salt and maybe some chopped tomatoes.
I've never been a fan of fruit in it though!

I hate cottage cheese because of the texture. My husband loves it. He eats it plain!

Not a fan of the texture but I do like it packed next to a dry salad of carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers.

I like it as a side, with salad, or on top of french fries.
I bought the small containers and they were really gross. Stick with the big containers.

I'm weird, I like to mix Frito corn chips into mine...it's the way my dad always ate it, and it stuck with me. Sometimes I'll stir in some Franks hot sauce. I can't stand it with fruit, though, which seems like the more typical way to eat it.
And yeah, those little containers of it are gross. Get the big ones.

I always think I'm going to love it, but I just tolerate it...I like it mixed with salt and pepper and chopped tomatoes on crackers/bread

I LOVE it! I eat it with mandarin oranges or peaches, or put it on fancy bakery toast for breakfast. My BFF hated it too, until she tried a low sodium version, and apparently that made a big difference for her.

I love it, I can't eat anything with it, I usually have it with a snack in the afternoon. Low-fat cottage cheese is nasty, though.

I was eating it and not losing any weight despite being on a strict no-sugar diet. Turns out that there's a significant amount of sugar in cottage cheese! Doh...

@highwire: @FutureMrsMcK: @travelingbrit: Wow, it does taste a lot better from a larger container! Less clumpy!

I like the whipped cottage cheese, it doesn't have the big curds in it.
I like my cottage cheese with sweet accompaniments, like fruit.
