LO's been congested for the last 3 days and today she started coughing.
It's so SAD! I hear her coughing every 15 minutes or so.
I can't believe she's sleeping through the coughs.. 
Anything I can do for her?

SO sad
but if she's sleeping through them, that's the best thing for her-- rest. Poor thing. She probably has a sore throat so loading up on things like yogurt and smoothies will probably make her happy during the day!

Coughing is so sad. I just do baby vicks on DD's chest and feet, then put socks on. Nothing much else to do for a cough since they aren't supposed to have medicine.

My LO had a cough when she was 3 months old. So sad

I hate it when our little ones get sick cause we can't really give them any medicine, except for Tylenol or Advil. When my son gets a cough, we usually just use the humidifier and then just let him fight it off. Does she get thirsty at night? My son used to get super thirsty in the middle of the night because he was coughing so much and breathing through his mouth (stuffy nose). Maybe give her some water if she gets up in the middle of the night. Hope she feels better soon!

I recently read that putting a few drops of eucalytpus oil on the bottom of each foot helps stops coughing? I haven't had the opportunity to try this, but there's a blog that tries out all the Pinterest pins and she claimed it worked for her son.

@Alivoo01: I was just looking into essential oils for infant/child remedies and heard the same thing.
I will say that I put vicks on her feet before bed and the next day she was a zillion times better. I don't know if it was just that the cold had run it's course or the vicks helped (has eucalytpus oil in it) but I'll do it again next time for sure.
