I plan to, but we'll see how it goes and reconsider if it doesn't seem to be working. I HATED school after about 4th grade, and it caused me a lot of issues. I don't want LO to get to that point. Homeschooling will mean letting her learn in the way that works best for her.

I went to public school, private school, and was homeschooled. I preferred being at school by far so I will send LO to school. I also think I would get bored SAH. I watched my stepmom fight with my siblings to do their schoolwork and I'm just not interested in doing that.

Nope, I want my kids to attend a traditional school.

I'm torn bc I love many aspects of homeschooling (play based, far more efficient, And I love teaching and watching kids learn and connect!) but as a former teacher I also have a romanticized view of the "class" and "classroom experience" that i would love for my kids to experience!!
So if there was a co op or something where t could be half-half that would be super ideal?
Or at least a way my children can be "in the classroom" and with peers even if it's not every single day.
By the way I am only confident homeschooling full or part-time for elementary.. For sure not higher

I definitely could not. I started out in college wanting to be an elementary school teacher and quickly changed my mind.

I could. But I won't. I think the social aspect of school is important, and I also think it's beneficial for kids to be exposed to both teachers and peers with different backgrounds, perspectives, views, and ways of thinking.

Could I? Yes, I am a certified K-12 teacher. Do I want to? No! I love teaching, but the idea of homeschooling is not something I want to do.

I could if our kids needed me to for whatever reason.
I'm a certified Elementary teacher.
If we had to move for hubbys job to a place we didn't like the schools, I definitely would!

I could do it, but I don't have any desire to. I think the school/classroom experience is important for kids as well.

Yeah, I could.
I was homeschooled for 10 years and I am quite involved with many large homeschooling resources for my job.
I don't plan on it, because I plan to work full time while my kids are in school, but I definitely could and I think my kids would turn out just fine.

No. My oldest and I wouldn't work well in a teacher student situation. I also don't have the confidence I could meet my girls' needs.

I could do it, but would only do it if there were special circumstances that required it.
