I am setting up some playschool activities at home for my toddler, and our materials would look much better if it wasn't my crappy handwriting on everything. I saw an activity that used letters printed with a Cricut. Does anyone have one? I'm afraid if I got one I'd get addicted and get sucked in buying all the extras.

I have one that I received as a gift. It's amazing how much better everything looks when it's cut with a cricut. I have used it to make some cards and also tried to cut some fabric letters to make a pillow for DD. it was a fail on fabric although theoretically its supposed to work. I haven't bought any extra cartridges yet since I don't use it much...

Hubby bought me a cricut earlier this year because he thought it was the coolest thing ever when he saw his cousin using it. haha! The cartridges are expensive though... =\

i had one but never used it so i recently sold it. trying to get rid of things unless i really use/need them!

I have one and love it! But I don't have a ton of cartridges, pretty basic with it. Worth the money for sure!

@mrsmate: maybe looked for one used? It takes up a lot of space... I would probably get rid of it but.... I'm thinking maybe I will need it for school related things when DD enters kinder next year?
