My 2 yr old has dry lips and her upper lip seems to "crack" at the same spot.
What do you put on you LO's dry lips?

@mrbee: I use this for myself. Which I like, but it is insanely expensive and I would never use it on a child because of the cost. lol

@.twist.: usually their lips are so small! a little bit goes a long way with my daughter... but yah I agree that it's expensive, and if there's a cheaper solution that works, that's ideal!

I slather on Aquaphor after he falls asleep, it is resolved by morning! I love that stuff! I've only had to do it twice, it works really well!

I just use the cheap as hell strawberry chapstick. E has a tendency to, ahem, eat lip products.

@blackbird: my LO does too! I found that Chapstick, especially cherry or strawberry, makes it worse because he licks it all off!

@.twist.: do you find that it is hard to squeeze out during the winter? Jeez I usually ending up sweating trying to eek some out!
I just use mini chapsticks I get from the dentist!

@mrbee: Honestly, I find it, maybe, as good as vaseline... it just smells better.
@Freckles: Yes. Such a pain! I do like it, but the cost just kills me. I'd be happy to just use vaseline. I may buy this again to treat myself, but I'd never use it on a regular basis.

@.twist.: If vaseline works, then that's definitely the way to go. In my family, chapped lips laugh at vaseline...

@Applesandbananas: ha there is that.
What about vitamin e or olive oil? It sinks in to heal, then top with a barrier cream.
