@Mrs. Twine: um WHAT! That is so cool! I don't even understand how you're doing that! I've never beaded anything.
@anonysquire: wow, that is an insane amount of things. I like the colors!
@Reese: That looks so neat antique-y!
@Leialou: Do you carry pictures of that around and show strangers? Because I would. Super super cool,, I'd love to try some of Ana White's stuff some day.
@Cherrybee: Yum! Homemade, pretty apple cider?? Sign me up!
@beaker: that is so pretty! I like the ribbons at the top, especially.
@Espion: picture!! my log cabin square binding came out SO sad, if you joined the sewalong group you saw it!
@stine_ciro: I LOVE the bright colors! Nice change from the chalkboard ones.
@rawrasaur: gorgeous! very spring-y
@avivoca: that turned out great! your LO needs a matching one
@jhd: adorable fabric choices!!
@CraftyMom13: I really like that first outfit! Does she wear anything twice
@Mrs. Pen: super cute, i still need to try that out! I forget if I asked this on IG with the first doll, did you use interfacing on the face? I sewed a stuffy before Christmas and wished I'd used interfacing because it was so floppy when I embroidered it

@LuLu Mom: I used this pattern from Liesl+Co: http://oliverands.com/liesl-and-co-patterns/OLV-LC005ES-D.html. It's so well written! This is the first garment I've made for myself and it looks really professional!
@scg00387: I'm already planning to sew up some matching outfits for Kentucky Oaks this year. I have to work, but we have a little tradition at work of wearing pink on Oaks Day for Breast Cancer awareness and I'd love to instill that in her. We will of course have fabulous facinators as well.

@scg00387: I've been doing it since I was in 8th grade. The first pattern I did myself was from Lord of the Rings and was two intertwining trees. I gave that to my brother. Then I have an awful story about one I made for my mom... and then I've done several others. Here's two that are finished:
There are no knots-- the hardest part is starting them. And they take an unholy amount of time to complete. 80+ hours generally. The finished ones are not my designs, but from paid-for patterns.

I finally made something! A custom tool roll for DH. I also finished blackout fabric lined curtains for E's room, sheers for the dining room and I'm nearly finished with lined linen curtains for the living room. (We have to hang the hardware to determine a good length before I hem them up.)
