We were at the playground this morning with my 1.5 year old daughter and she was riding on those metal bouncy animal things and got a little excited and bumped her face into it. She cried, but was fine after a little bit. I only just noticed that the corner of her front tooth is missing! 
I felt it and it's definitely rough and chipped. Ugh. Do I do anything? It's not bothering her.

Hmm I would maybe call the Dr. or dentist, especially if she has any swelling or other symptoms. But thankfully it's a baby tooth!

I don't think you need to do anything, but maybe call her dentist just to ask? Since it's her baby tooth, she's going to lose them anyway, so it's not going to be a permanent issue.
I chipped my tooth as a kid just like that, except it was my adult tooth, so I was stuck with it. It didn't cause my any issues, but I eventually had the dentist add something to fill in the chip and make my teeth look even. But for a baby tooth, I wouldn't think there'd be a need to do anything.

That's what I was thinking too. I'll give her dentist a call and see. At least it's not too noticeable

I chipped a lot of teeth as a kid, some were fine as they were - but occasionally the chip was large enough that it was cleaned and they put something on it to prevent it becoming a cavity.

I just got off the phone with her dentist and basically, I could bring her in if I feel like she needs to be seen. Like if she has bruising, bleeding, or swelling. They'd want to see her to make sure iit's nothing under the gum. So I'm going to keep an eye on it and see if anything happens in the next day or so. I might want to go in and get it filed down so it's smooth if it's really sharp. I'll need my DH to be here to hold her down so I can check.
Ugh, kids! Always breaking stuff, lol.

My DD chipped her tooth exactly like that at 1 1/2 years old. We asked a dentist and they said as long as there isn't any discoloration, then all should be fine.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: IF it helps, my oldest did that on her crib when she was about that age. My mom (a dental hygienist) said that, as long as it's not continuing to bleed or cause discomfort, it should be fine. The teeth will come out in a few years anyway I hope she feels better!

My son chipped his tooth worse than that. We took him in a couple days later just to make sure everything looked fine (which it did) and then again today (a month later) to make sure no infection had developed. I'd take her in just in case. Our dentist said the bump itself (not just the chip) can cause bruising/infection.

You only need to see a dentist if it's wobbly. 5yo DD shattered her right eye tooth as well as chipping several others earlier in the year after an accident on the school playground so unfortunately I'm well versed in what to do. If you see a line running up from the chip indicating a fracture, run, do not walk to a paediatric dentist as they'll probably have to do an extraction (if this happens always opt for general anaesthetic - local is way too traumatic), if the chip has exposed some enamel get it checked out when you can, otherwise it's all good to leave!
