How long from crawling did your LO start cruising?
R got crawling down and then immediately went to pulling up to stand. She will take a couple steps while holding on the coffee table. But doesn't try when standing at her walker.

LO started crawling around 6.5 months and pulling up shortly after. as for cruising, he started pushing stepstools/trashcans at about 8.5 months. is that cruising? he is now 9 months. however i haven't seen him hold onto a stationary piece, like a couch, and walk while moving his hands along the couch. when he pushes the stepstool or trashcan, he is leaning on them quite heavily.

LO crawled around 7 months and was taking steps by 7.5 months. He crawled backwards in a circle for a long time before understanding how to crawl forward at 7 months.

@edelweiss: I think cruising as walking as long as they are holding onto something.

About 10 days maybe. But he was super-late...didn't crawl until 12.5 months. Then decided to catch up to everyone in about a week! Now at 13 months it looks like he will walk soon.

She was pulling up and cruising before walking. It all happened somewhere in the 7-9 month range.

@hilsy85: Interesting that he pulled up before crawling! I'm thinking K might try the same.

@Smurfette: I can't believe R's trying to cruise already! Miss K is too lazy to even try crawling.

@shopaholic: yup! he would get into crawling position at that point but didn't actually crawl til around 9 months.

About a week or so? She crawled late, and then started pulling up right away and cruising afterward.

L crawled at 5.5, pulled up at 6 and cruised just about as soon as she pulled up. She's now doing a backwards cruise where she supports her back on the couch, but doesn't hold on with her hands.
ETA: she first used her push walker at 7.5 but really "got" it at eight. Now anything that can be pushed around the house is, including the dog.

Charlie army crawled at 6 months, crawled at 7?, cruised at 8.
Olive was much more delayed and took forever to cruise so I don't really remember. Poor second child.

F crawled right at 9 months and then didn't even pull up to stand until after 11 months. He just turned a year and is finally starting to cruise a little bit and "walk" with a push toy.
