Do you use or plan to use a crib mobile? I saw a really cute one at the store today but it just occurred me that I rarely see them in nursery pics these days. Whats your reason for using/not using a crib mobile?

I plan on using one, I just bought an adorable one on etsy last night! I think it would be nice for the baby to have something to look at.

My husband is too paranoid to have something over the crib while she's sleeping.

I had one for my daughter and the music was kinda nice but only as long as it was playing lol

I was really meh about them before having LO but my mom got me one and her swing had one and she really loves them so I'm glad they're there now.

not sure if i'll get one. i have the giraffe white noise and turtle light thingamajig on my registry and i think those should be good enough?

It used to entertain my LO for a little while after she woke up in the mornings so that I could get a couple more winks. We still use it to this day (21 months) but more for the music.

I'm using one, but I made it (you can see it on my blog linked in my profile). If I wouldn't have made one for cheap, I probably wouldn't have spent the money on one. Just because I don't see them as "necessary" and there are so many other more important things we need first.
