I'm also short with short arms. Our crib is the same height on all 4 sides - like others have said, when they are really little the mattress is raised which makes it easier. You just come up with a system that works for laying them down!!
P.S. Love the style of those cribs!

@bluestriped bee: I'm short with short arms, and I agree with PP that in the beginning, you'll have the mattress at the highest setting and it's not that far to reach down, and once they're older, and the mattress is lower, they'll be standing up.

I will say, however, that my toddler wants me to arrange her friends in the crib every night, so I am reaching down to the bottom all the time, and it's not easy - sometimes I go to the side to reach the back. But it's not a huge deal.

I'm 5'2" and was worried about this too. Our cribs are the Kendall low profile cribs from PBK. They are 4" shorter than their other standard cribs. I don't know if it really makes a difference or if it's just a placebo effect, but I've never had any issues lifting them into their cribs. I highly recommend this option!

We have one of each. The one that is the same height al the way around is definitely easier to get baby out of. DH has short arms and once DD got bigger he couldn't lay her down in her crib sleeping because the side was so high, she has one of the "fancier" high back cribs.

I'm short and we have the taller back than front/sides crib. The tall back is against the wall so it's no biggie. Like others have mentioned, they're in the highest setting when they're little so it's not a problem. It does get a bit more tricky to put them down when they're in the lower setting because I feel like I just "drop" him in the last few inches. However, it doesn't seem to bother him.

I'm 5'2 and have a standard crib. It is a little bit of a reach but I'm used to it. I guess I probably drop him in a bit as mentioned above, but he doesn't seem to mind. Of course he was higher up when he was younger and more fragile. Our crib is taller on the sides, I feel like maybe that makes it harder for him to climb out? He's never gotten close to climbing out so that's good.

I'm 5'1" - it was fine when DS was a newborn b/c we had the mattress to its highest. But, when he started to stand we lowered it to the lowest setting - I had to get stool so that I could lay him down.... sometimes I lean in too much and then I fall in with him! It's a LOL moment but also a little embarrassing

@snowjewelz: I am tall with fairly long arms and I could never manage an easy transfer into our mini crib on the highest setting! Hence why we are crib drop outs.

I'm not that short (5'4") but I still had a hard time putting LO into his crib once he started getting heavier. When he was little and the mattress was up high it wasn't that bad but when he was 1 and the crib was low, it killed my back! We have an old jenny-lind so it's pretty much the same height, the head and foot are maybe 3" taller if that.

You can pay extra for assembly of Ikea stuff if you don't find something you like as much (or that's as inexpensive)

I was leaning toward a Jenny Lind until I saw some of the more simple ones there. And they're decent prices!
