@Mrs. Pen: you can still do it with short hair! By bottom layer is only like an inch long!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: You are gorgeous and your hair looks so good! I feel like if I keep the clamp closed, the metal isn't equally hot all the way around, so that's why I open it up, but looks like it works great your way!

@tysonja: Aw thank you! It's taken me a bit of practice every time I do it, but I feel like I can now successfully get every part of my head to look even! It's hard at first to get the back with super long hair.

@sandy: Haha thanks! Don't know if I'll do a YouTube tutorial (I hate watching myself on video, let alone strangers on the internet lol). When I do my hair like this, I usually wash it the night before and let it air dry when I sleep, so it takes me about 20 minutes to curl it like this but that is starting with fully dry hair.
Also wanted to note that I always use mousse in my hair when it's wet and then I use a good quality hairspray when I do the curling. I use Rusk W8less and it seems to hold really well. I spray all over my dry hair before curling, then spray once during and once after to make sure it's all set without being sticky.

Okay you all have convinced me that I need one of these. So many cute curls!
Any recommendations on which wand is best? I have shoulder length hair if that makes a difference.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: @Snapdragon: Oh I love the looks! Okay, I'll have to give your methods a try. What size barrels do you use?
@QueensBee: I have and like this wand: http://www.amazon.com/Le-Angelique-Curling-Iron-Pink/dp/B002LE8P8W

i don't know if you guys have seen this (diy your own curling wand), but certainly easier and cheaper than buying one! i don't even have a regular curling iron though, but if i did i'd make one!

@tysonja: I'd be interested to see how well this works.
@QueensBee: Can't wait to hear what you think of it!
