I use the DevaCARE No Poo and the One Condition conditioner (I have 3A hair) and I LOVE it.

@septca: I second the Deva brand of products!! They are amazing, my hair has gotten SOOOOOO much healthier since I started using them a few years ago. I buy them from Amazon, though Sephora also carries them online (though that's more expensive than Amazon). I use the No Poo Shampoo, One Conditioner, and then the B'Leave In Conditioner and AnGel for styling

@nana87: Love them! I use the Styling Cream and curl clips. It took me a while to figure this out, but there are actually two types of shampoo and conditioner - the DevaCurl (green label with white, smells like limes) and the DevaCare (white label with green, smells like oranges). The Care is supposed to be for color-treated hair, which I don't have, but I use it because I like the way it smells better!

@septca: whoa that's cool! I like it. Mine is more 2A, but when it was shorter it was 2B.

ETA: the look of 2A is more like my hair but the description of 2C is more like mine. My hair is thick and easily frizzes, but tends to be more wavy than actual curls.

I don't feel like shampoo specifically for curly hair makes any difference at all to my hair. I try to use natural hair/body products. I use Avalon Organics and it works just as well as anything else I've tried.

Hmmm, the curl types are confusing, because my hair is pretty thick. If I just brush it out, it is 2A all the way. If I use product and diffuse it, it's between 3A/B. Air dried, I guess 3A.

I've used Living Proof (Sephora) for medium to thick hair when I diffuse with good results.

@septca: It's like this site knows me! I think I'm a 2C, though I could be a 3A? My frizz level is reinforcing the 2C diagnosis.
